ANIME MATSURI 2015: YAY!
Para AM15, no tenía considerado ir, si, me llamaba la atención el hecho de que Akira se presentara con DISACODE por primera vez en el continente Americano, pero sentía que me había bastado con AM2014, pero vaya que estaba equivocada, entre acontecimientos y Ashley animándome a meter papeles para el Fashion Show, dije, “No tengo nada que perder” En septiembre 22 de 2014 meto mi aplicación, y comienza el juego de la espera (nervios).
For AM15, I hadn’t considered going, yeah, I was struck by the fact that Akira was going to be performing with DISACODE for the first time in the American continent, but felt that I had enough with AM14, but oh boy, I was wrong, between events and Ashley encouraging me to submit my application to the Fashion Show, I said, “I have nothing to lose,” On September 22, 2014 I put my application and started the waiting game ( nerves).
El Universo conspiró a mi favor, de tal forma, que salió una promoción para ir Houston a un precio super accesible, Ashley me convenció en dividir los gastos entre las dos del cuarto del Hilton, sin contar que cayó en Semana Santa, días festivos de México que se tienden a dar tipo el Spring Break de US, Carla se suma con nosotros y Danny saca su visa, todas la piezas se acomodaron mejor de lo que hubiese podido esperar. Sólo bastó el Superpass y el siguiente correo:
The universe conspired in my favor, I found an airplane promotion with a super affordable price, Ashley convinced me to divide the costs between the two of us for the Hilton, the dates of AM15 fell on Easter holidays in Mexico that tend to be like Spring Break in the US, Carla joins us and Danny gets her visa, all the pieces accommodated better than I had ever expected. A partir de aquí comencé a conocer a los organizadores, vi la convención desde sus entrañas, sus preparativos y sus desvelos, lo difícil que es contactar, juntar a todas lar marcas y acomodar sus estantes, etc. Para este AM, decidí ir desde el Jueves temprano y regresar Domingo (lo más tarde que pudiera salir mi avión), Las dos veces me perdí el after party con Akira, jajaja, está bien, por algo pasan las cosas, ya habrá tiempo para un after party con Akira.

ME EMBARCO EN UNA AVENTURA: JUEVES |I EMBARK ON AN ADVENTURE: THURSDAY
Esta vez iba acompañada con Carla; Daniela y Ashley ya nos esperaban en Houston, yo venía hecha un mar de nervios porque tenía que irme directo a ensayar en cuanto llegara, sin saber nada previo del show, ni música ni siquiera que marca sería la que estaría modelando.

Llego el Jueves, casi tirando la maleta en el Hilton, corro al centro de convenciones, donde según yo ya tenía el tiempo encima, y que me pierdo, no encuentro donde es el dichoso cuarto de ensayo, entrada en pánico, logro encontrar un staff que para mi sorpresa, sabe donde está todo y cómo, se portó muy amable, y me llevó justo a donde tenía que estar. 20+ puntos para AM15.
Arrived on Thursday, nearly pulling the suitcase at the Hilton, I run to the convention center, where according to the time I was already late, and my lucky self got lost, I can not find where is the damn rehearsal room, entry into panic , managed to find a staff which to my surprise, she knows where everything is, she was very friendly, and took me right where I needed to be . 20+ points for AM15 .
Al entrar, veo un cuarto lleno de chicas, todas en grupos, y a lo lejos en un grupo Daniela, corro a ella, como un náufrago al bote salvavidas, una cara conocida entre medio de tanta modelo. Con un abrazo la saludo, y me hace saber que el ensayo no ha comenzado, que tranquilidad. Todo el Jueves nos las pasamos en el cuarto de ensayo, para terminar tarde ese día con la prueba de vestuario. Fue super bonito ver todas las nuevas colecciones de las diferentes marcas, Angelic Pretty, Putumayo, BOZ, Metamorphose. Conocí a las diseñadoras de todas las marcas, platiqué un poco con mi Japonés cortado.
Upon entering, I see a room full of girls, all in groups, and in the distance in a group Daniela , I run to her, like a drowning man to a lifeboat, a familiar face in the midst of models. The I greet her with a hug and she let me know that the rehearsal hasnt begun, tranquility. All Thursday we spent our day at the rehearsal room, to finish later with the dress rehearsal. Was super nice to see all the new collections of different brands , Angelic Pretty, Putumayo , BOZ , Metamorphose. I met the designers of the invited brands, I talked with them a little with my broken Japanese.
Taira-san, escogió el conjunto que usaría para el Fashion Show, estaba super feliz y extasiada, me tocó el único vestido Azul de la colección, un vestido con temática marina, set completo, con unos zapatos negros con plataformas gigantes, ya cansada ese día, me perdí del evento pre-Lolita party del Jueves. Me fui con las embajadoras a husmear su booth juntos con mis amigas, a ver que adornos ponían y como lo arreglaban, muy entretenido, y tuve la fortuna de conocer a las embajadoras de cerca y platicar con ellas.
Taira -san chose the set that I wore at the Fashion Show, I was super happy and ecstatic, she chose for me the only navy dress in the collection, a dress with a marine theme, a whole complete set, with black shoes with giant platforms, I missed the pre – event party Lolita. Later on, I went with my firends to see the ambassadors booth and see how they put together all the ornaments and freebies, very entertaining, and I was fortunate to meet all the ambassadors and talk to them.
Ese mismo día fuimos a comer Pizza, Alitas, Cerveza y papas con Thanh, rico jueves, llegando al Hotel Danny recibe una llamada para irnos al centro de convenciones, siendo las 2 am de Houston, 12 am de nosotras y con las pilas bien puestas nos fuimos ayudar a colocar los booths de las diferentes marcas en el centro de convenciones, Puedo decir que toqué todo el brand que mis manitas pudieron cargar entre que acomodaba cajas y conseguía desarmadores para montar cosas.
That same day, we headed to a restaurant to eat Piazza, Wings, fries and beer with Thanh, was a nice Thursday, as soon as we arrived to the hotel, Danny got a call and headed to the convention center at 2 am Houston hour, 12 am for us, we were hype, we helped to put the brands booths together, I can say I touch every brand my hands can carry while moving boxes and gettings tools from here and there.
Llegamos a nuestro cuarto si bien nos fue como a las 4-5 am de Houston, nosotras pues con las pilas de 2-3 am, si llegamos tarde, con la encomienda de levantarnos muy temprano al día siguiente. Fue grato convivir con Deneice y John, aunque sea corriendo por las cosas.
We arrived at our room at 4-5 am Houston time,for us it was still 2-3 am, yes we arrived late , with the task of getting up early the next day. I was pleased to share this exerience with Deneice and John, even running for things.
VIERNES | FRIDAY
Viernes llegó rápido, nos levantamos temprano para ir a formarnos al centro de convenciones y utilizar el superpass, por asares el destino, pasé más temprano de los previsto y pude formarme en Angelic Pretty casi casi en primera fila, antes de que la vaciaran claro, compré un lucky pack, que vendí en la misma fila porque no me gustó su contenido, fui a Metamorphose y compré accesorios, BOZ lo pasé de largo aunque si me moría por uno de sus sacos, lo que en verdad quería era Putumayo, su ropa es tan cool, que quedé enganchada, compré cuanta cosa pudieron agarrar mis manitas.
Friday came fast , we got up early to make line the convention center and use the superpass, by fate, I passed earlier of schedule and was able to form in line for the Angelic Pretty booth nearly in the front row before the emptied the booth clear, I bought a lucky pack , which I sold in the same line because I did not like its content, I went to Metamorphose and bought accessories, pass by BOZ, expensive brand, What I really wanted was Putumayo, their clothes are so cool , that I was instantly hooked , I bought all things that my hands could grab.
Viernes en la tarde, fue de estarnos encerradas y ensayando hasta el Fashion Show, así que de 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm, estuvimos ensayando, comentando, viendo a los otros grupos ensayar, ver a las modelos pasar, ver a Reika, Akira, Midori, Misako, Minori, diseñadores, modelos conviviendo, tomándose selfies, a sólo unos pies de distancia. El ambiente dentro de ese cuarto era diferente, era normal, como si no existieran idols.
Friday afternoon, we were locked all day at the changing room being prepared for the Fashion Show, so from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 pm , we were rehearsing , commenting , watching the other groups reharse, see the models come and go, saw Reika Akira , Midori , Misako , Minori, designers, models coexist, taking selfies. The atmosphere in that room was different , it was normal , as if there were no idols
El Fashion Show fue toda una experiencia nueva para mi, fue otro nivel, me gustó mucho haber tenido esa oportunidad de modelar para la que fue en un principio la marca que me introdujo al Lolita, Metamorphose Temps de Filles, esta vez regresaba a ella, una versión 5 años más grande de aquella muchacha que iniciaba en el Lolita, con más seguridad, con determinación y feliz de haber emprendido este viaje con amigas. Terminamos el Fashion super contentas.
The Fashion Show was a whole new experience for me , it was another level, I really liked having that opportunity, to model for the brand that was originally the one who introduced me to Lolita, Metamorphose Temps de Filles, this time 5 years older, a new version of the girl who started in Lolita, with more security, with determination and happy to have taken this trip with friends. Fashion ended and we were Super happy.
Ayudamos a Deneice a mover atuendos de BOZ a su cuarto-oficina en el centro de convenciones, y nos recibió con ramen instantáneo y panecillos japoneses, muy atenta y muy agradecida con ella y todas sus atenciones, a pesar de que claramente estaba exhausta por el Fashion Show nunca mostró un mal semblante, la admiro por eso.
We helped Deneice to move BOZ outfits and stuff to her room – office in the convention center, and we were met with instant ramen and Japanese rolls, I’m very attentive and very grateful to her and all her attentions, though she was clearly exhausted by the Fashion Show, she never was never in a bad temper, I admire that.
Termina el Fashion Show, y lo que quiero es descansar, y relax, y así se hace fuimos al bar cansadas, pero felices a tomar Blue Moon, primera vez que la pruebo y me gustó mucho, me tomé la cerveza de Daniela también.
The Fashion Show ended, and what I wanted to do, was to rest and relax, and so went to a bar, tired but happy, I tried Blue Moon for the first time and really enjoyed it, I even drank Daniela’s beer too.
SABADO | SATURDAY
Sábado llegó y por más temprano que me hubiese levantado, no habría sido suficiente para ver lo desolado que quedó el booth de Angelic Pretty, ni bien eran las 10 am cuando AP ya estaba vacío, decir que quedaban 50 accesorios divididos en moños, calcetas o zapatos era decir mucho. Lo bueno es que mis compras ya estaban hechas todo lo que quería obtener estaba felizmente empacado en mi maleta.
Saturday arrived, and even though I wake up early that day, wasnt early enough, because when we arrived to the convention center we found a desolate Angelic Pretty booth , was 10 am when AP was empty , to say that their were 50 items divided into ribbons, socks or shoes was saying too much, it was complety empty. Good thing my purchases were done already and everything I wanted to get was happily packed in my suitcase.
Sábado fue sin duda el día más lleno de actividades, desde la Boda Lolita, el Panel con Disacode, donde el tipo me seguía ingnorando y diciendo “muchacho”, no me quejo tuve Akira de nuevo a unos pies de mi cara,fuimos a la presentación de JLA (Japan Lolita Association) a dar apoyo moral a nuestra embajadora y por supuesto estar en primera fila en la elección de la primera embajadora Lolita de Estados Unidos. Fuimos a los autógrafos de Little Witch Academy, anime nuevo que me ha enganchado, a los autógrafos de Midori que es tan linda, cuando le dije que me gustaban sus fotos sexys, se puso super feliz y me mostró personalmente su favorita, también me dijo de la similitudes de mi persona y apellido a cierta diseñadora *wink wink* (Metamorphose ~ Kuniko Kato).
Saturday was undoubtedly the day with most activities, from the Lolita wedding, to the Panel with Disacode where this guy kept ingnoring my questions and keep telling me “boy ” I’m not complaining I saw Akira again a few feet from my face, I went to the presentation of JLA (Japan Lolita Association) to give moral support to our ambassador and of course be in front line for the election of the first US Kawaii Lolita ambassador. We went to the autographs of Little Witch Academy, to the autographs of Midori, she is so cute, when I told her I liked her sexy photos, she became super happy and showed me personally his favorite, also told me the similarities between me and a certain designer name * wink wink * ( Metamorphose ~ Kuniko Kato ).
Fuimos a ver el Cosplay show, y dar apoyo a Ashley que se presentaría por primera vez en un concurso en AM, se veía espectacular, vimos a Akira cantar, a Reika y Kaname interpretar Saint Seiya (el cual siento mucho haber estado tan cerca del escenario) porque aunque los vi super cerquita y los escuché como si me cantaran a mi, mi cámara no captó tan bien el sonido por culpa de las bocinas, awww, pero pude capturar a Akira.
We went to see the Cosplay show, and support our friend Ashley who was going to participate in the cosplay contest for the first time in AM, she looked spectacular , we saw Akira sing, Reika and Kaname interpret Saint Seiya (which I’m sorry to have been so close to the stage ) because although I saw her Super close and listened as if she were singing to me, my camera did not capture well the sound because the speakers , awww , but I could catch Akira .
Sábado terminó con el concierto de Akira con DISCODE, y el super conciertaso de Anna Tsuchiya, si bien ya la seguía desde el anime de Nana, no me consideraba su fan, todo eso cambio gracias a su concierto su voz en vivo en mil veces mejor que las de su CD, me enganchó y me enamoró. Posterior a esto fueron los autógrafos con Akira y DISACODE, quienes firmaron muy amablemente el libro de DISTYLE. Pero el party continúa y nos vamos de Rave con Teddy Vocaloid. Llegamos tardísimo al cuarto, pero la bailada nadie no los quita.
Saturday ended with a concert by Akira DISCODE , and the super concert of Anna Tsuchiya, and although I remember her from the anime Nana , did not consider myself her fan, all that changed thanks to her voice at live concert, her voice sounds a thousand times better that her CD, I was hooked and I fell in love with her music. Following this, were the autographs by DISACODE and Akira , who kindly signed the book distyle . But the party continues and we go to party with the music of Teddy Vocaloid. We arrived very late to our room, but very happy, and tired.
DOMINGO | SUNDAY
Domingo, nos levantamos super temprano a trabajar la magia de transformarnos en Lolita OTT para el Tea Party, el Tea Party fue muy elegante, muy bien realizado con todo y mini pasarela, foto con las invitadas, jugar un poco y platicar con ellas, una experiencia única.
Sunday we got up super early to work the magic of transformation into Lolita OTT for the Tea Party, the Tea Party was very elegant , very well done there was even a mini catwalk , photo with the guests, play a bit and talk to them, a unique experience.
Detalles que hicieron espectacular este Tea Party, ver lo dorky que es Midori y que me siga la onda, Kabe-don con Akira, Foto con Minori, Foto con Ashley y su super Lolita Make up, estoy super feliz.Fotos con mis mejores amigas.
There were certain details that made this Tea Party and a Spectacular one, first seeing Midori and how dorky and outgoing she was following me in every dorky pose, Kabe -don with Akira, Photo with Minori , Photo with Ashley and her super Lolita Make up , I’m super happy, photos with my best friends.
Y más feliz por haber compartido esto con aquellos que estimo y quiero mucho, Daniela, Carla, Ashley, ustedes chicas son lo máximo, gracias por acompañarme en esta aventura.

Domingo fue entretenido regresamos, posteriormente al cuarto, empacamos todo, nos cambiamos, fuimos a caminar tranquilamente por el parque, comimos, nos despedimos, y Carla y yo regresamos a casita.
Sunday was fun, back then to the room we packed up , we moved, we went to walk quietly through the park , ate, said our goodbyes, and Carla and I returned to our sweet hometown.

ANIME MATSURI 2014
Con la anterior idea en mente, y sin acompañante que me hiciera segundas en este evento, me lancé sola a esta convención, una ciudad diferente, un cuarto con un sólo habitantes y una convención que tenía cosas que hacer todo el tiempo, ahora mis amigas entienden cuando les digo, “no me dio tiempo de visitar la ciudad”.
Al ser una convención a la que asistía por primera vez, decidí tomarme todas las comodidades habidas y por haber, me hospedé en el Hilton (Hotel que queda literalmente enfrente del centro de convenciones), me compré el Superpass (pase que vale 3 veces el valor del pase regular y tiene como beneficios entrar hora antes a la convención dándote acceso primero a las tiendas de marca, Baby the Stars Shine Briht, Alice and the Pirates, Putumayo; no haciendo fila, una bolsa con regalos, etc.) 
El Sábado asistí entre muchas cosas al Panel de las modelos de BTSSB y AaTP, firma de autógrafos de Midori y Akira (que verdaderamente son un amor de personas) y por supuesto al Tea Party, que no fue nada comparado con lo que nos esperaba en AM2015, el Tea Party de 2014 fue en el centro de convenciones, la comida no alcanzó para los invitados, los premios fueron escuetos, y sin recuerdos.

. Por fin salgo al mundo exterior y que mejor que al concierto de Danny Elfman’s Music From the Films of Tim Burton, está de más decir cuan fan soy de ambos, y como al enterarme de dicho concierto instintivamente y sin pensarlo compré mis boletos.
de Alice and the Pirates, y me rehusaba a usarlo, hasta hallar el evento perfecto, las fuerzas del universo conspiraron en esto, no sólo estaba el evento perfecto, sino también la mejor compañía que una señorita pudiera tener el fan número uno de Batman, mi novio
, visitando las tiendas de Disney y aprovechando para tomarnos una que otra foto.
al Nokia Theater en Los Ángeles, para escuchar por fin a la orquesta tocar y cantar la música de Danny Elfman.
Cuando pienso en ellos generalmente digo: Elegantes, vistosos, hermosos y glamurosos.
